Back to pigs for insulin, but not what is known as ‘animal’ insulin — this time it’s transplanted pig cells designed to secrete insulin after implant. Gives new meaning to the phrase pigs in knickers. That would be us then, the long pigs. Hey, if it works, I’d do it. Oink oink.
